Maintenance Tips
  • Wipe Exterior Weekly: Clean the stainless‑steel surfaces with a soft cloth and mild detergent or warm, soapy water to remove grease, fingerprints, and cooking residue — always wipe with the grain and avoid abrasive pads to protect the finish.

  • Clean Internal Grease Areas: This model uses Vent‑A‑Hood’s patented filterless design, so grease is captured inside the blower housing — regularly wipe internal grease‑collection surfaces and blower housing to prevent buildup and maintain strong airflow.

  • Inspect Ductwork & Vent Paths: If installed ducted, ensure duct and vent openings are clear of obstructions so the 600 CFM blower vents smoke and odors effectively outside.

  • Check Lights & Hardware: Wipe light covers and replace bulbs as needed; tighten loose screws to keep illumination bright and the hood secure.

  • Run Fan After Cooking: Let the fan run 5–10 minutes after cooking to clear lingering smoke and odors, reducing long‑term residue
