VENTAHOOD 66" Wall Mounted Euro Style Range Hood - VENTAHOOD 60" Wall Mounted Euro Style Range Hood - EPTH18460

This Euroline Pro with squared lip is boldly designed to cover light residential, "commercial type" cooking equipment. To order a 27" depth, add an 'X' after 'EP' in the model number. The Euroline Pro Series with Emerald Lip is also available with a 26" wide x 14" deep top to allow for higher CFM requirements . Heat lamps are not available on this model. Click on the models for a list of our base model numbers for standard sizes; simply select the model you need, and then specify the finish [painted, stainless steel, real brass, real copper, or hammered copper]. Recommended mounting height is 30" from the cooking surface. Shown with matching wall mount duct cover [sold separately], available in standard sizes for 8', 9', and 10' ceiling heights or in custom sizes. All Vent-A-Hood products are suitable for use in damp locations [outdoor applications such as a covered patio] when installed in a GFCI protected branch circuit.

What our Experts Think
  • High‑Capacity Euro‑Style Ventilation – The 66″ Wall Mounted Euro Style Range Hood delivers up to ~1,200 CFM airflow with centrifugal Magic Lung blowers, effectively clearing smoke, steam, and strong cooking odors from large cooktops. Recommended mounting height is ~30″ above the cooktop.

  • Filterless Grease Capture – The centrifugal Magic Lung® system traps grease and vapors internally instead of relying on restrictive mesh or baffle filters, maintaining steady suction and simplifying cleaning.

  • Balanced Noise & Illumination – Offers strong extraction while keeping noise manageable (~6.3–6.6 sones) and integrated lights provide clear cooktop illumination.

  • Sleek Euro Aesthetic – Modern stainless‑steel design complements contemporary kitchens, adding a premium, durable look while delivering reliable everyday performance.

  • Fire‑Safe Centrifugal Advantage – The blower’s centrifugal airflow pattern helps reduce flame spread into ductwork, providing an added safety benefit.

  • Installation & Ducting Tips – Experts recommend using 10″–12″ round ducting and installing at the recommended height (~30″ above the cooktop) for optimal airflow and capture across the cooking surface.

Maintenance Tips
  • Weekly Exterior Clean: Wipe the stainless‑steel surface with a soft cloth and warm, mild detergent or stainless cleaner, following the grain to protect finish and remove grease. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh chemicals.

  • Interior Canopy Care: Periodically wipe the interior canopy with warm, soapy water to remove grease buildup that can reduce airflow and efficiency.

  • Grease Filter/Baffle Cleaning: Remove and clean grease/baffle filters every 1–2 months (more often with frequent cooking). Soak in warm soapy water or use a gentle dishwasher cycle if permitted, and dry thoroughly before reinstalling.

  • Fan & Blower Area: With power off, gently wipe around the fan/blower area occasionally to prevent grease accumulation and sustain strong suction.

  • Duct & Vent Inspection: Seasonally check ductwork and external vent caps for blockages to ensure optimal airflow and reduce strain on the blower.

  • Controls & Lights: Clean control panels and lights with a damp cloth, avoiding excess moisture near electrical components.
