Maintenance Tips
  • Wipe Exterior Weekly: Clean the stainless‑steel surfaces with a soft cloth and mild detergent or warm soapy water to remove grease and fingerprints; always clean with the grain and avoid abrasive pads/harsh cleaners to preserve the finish.

  • Keep Blower & Grease Areas Clean: If equipped with Vent‑A‑Hood’s Magic Lung® blower system, the internal grease‑collection surfaces and blower housing capture grease — wipe these regularly with warm, soapy water and clean removable shields as needed to maintain strong airflow and reduce buildup.

  • Inspect Ductwork: Periodically check that the duct and vent openings are clear of obstructions so the hood can vent smoke and odors effectively. A clear vent also reduces fire risk and improves airflow efficiency.

  • Check Lights & Fasteners: Wipe and replace bulbs when needed; tighten any loose screws to keep lighting bright and the hood securely mounted.

  • Run Fan After Cooking: Let the fan run 5–10 minutes after cooking to help clear residual smoke, steam, and odors and reduce residue buildup.
